When is the last day to renew my license with the state of Ohio, WITHOUT paying ‘late processing’ fees?

You have until September 15, 2021, to renew your license with the state of Ohio without incurring additional renewal costs. 

When is the last day to renew my license with the state of Ohio, before my license will lapse?

You have until October 31, 2021, to renew your license with the state of Ohio before a license reinstatement is required. 

When do I have to complete my 24, state-required Continuing Education Units by?

Ohio nurses have until October 31, 2021, to complete all continuing education requirements required for license renewal. 

What are the state costs for RN license renewal from July 1, 2021 (opening day) through September 15, 2021?

The RN renewal fee is $65, plus a $3.50 transaction fee charged by Ohio eLicense if you renew on or before September 15, 2021. 

What are the state costs for RN license renewal between September 16th and October 31st?

The RN renewal fee is $115, plus a $3.50 transaction fee charged by Ohio eLicense if you renew between September 16, 2021, and October 31, 2021.
